Clay and Concept
Wednesdays 6-9pm, 10 Week Class (Sept 25 – Dec 4th, *no class 11/27*)

Join long term resident artists Lexus Giles for an introduction to three-dimensional form and design concepts using ceramic materials and processes! Dive into projects that will investigate three dimensionality and visual dynamics including a study of form, space, texture, composition, and structure. Students will form an in-depth understanding of three-dimensional concepts by learning basic sculptural strategies, hand forming techniques, and vocabulary, then applying these skills with clay as the medium. In addition to hands on projects, students will read, research, discuss, and respond to historical and current issues with three-dimensional concepts. A must not miss class!
*A minimum of 6 is required to run this class
